Developing Motivation and Pride in Excellence

The inception of the United States Air Force set the precedent for a legacy of excellence on Sept. 18, 1947. This legacy was reinforced by the origination of the United States Space Force on Dec. 20, 2019.

Therefore, it only makes sense that “Excellence in All We Do” is one of the foundational principles that all Airmen and Guardians must understand. Living up to the potential that this core value can instill in an individual as one of the foremost reasons why the Air Force has been able to stand proud and project airpower into combat operations.

These are but a few of the driving factors behind why Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps places great emphasis on each cadet having to learn, memorize and internalize the Air Force core values from day one.
