CAPTAIN Ryan t. dysonCaptain Ryan T. Dyson is Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 645, The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He recruits, trains, motivates, and counsels highly qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force Officers. He promotes Air Force career opportunities to university and high school students, faculty, parents and Administrators. He also instructs college courses, developing first year cadets and educating them on the foundation of the U.S. Air Force.
Captain Dyson was commissioned through The Ohio State University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 2011, as a Logistics Readiness Officer. Prior to his current assignment, he served in the 436th Mission Support Group and 436th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Dover AFB, Delaware. In his tenure at Dover AFB, Capt Dyson lead in a variety of roles, directing operations and maintenance for an 850 vehicle fleet, ensuring readiness and mobility prepardness for over 350 members and 175 Unit Type Codes, and most recently, serving as Executive Officer for the 436th Mission Support Group Commander, where he facilitated admin support for 6 Squadrons and 1,500 Personnel.
